Is this freedom?

so true - we do have choice - however, i think that at times that personal belief system/choice may be altered by that thing called "brainwashing" under certain conditions -

I have a great conflict between the freedom I want and the freedom that means denying the community.
Somehow I feel that freedom is of different degrees to different people. No one is absolutely free.

Which is why the concept of fate is so abhorrent to me..

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,

and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
